A Touch of Whimsy…An Enchanting Tea Experience

About 370 women, representing all of our campuses, assembled in the Café Dining Room of the Melbourne campus on May 9th for CCM’s annual Women’s Tea.  This year’s theme, “A Touch of Whimsy”   ….An Enchanting Tea Experience, was the concept of our hostess, Jackie Tinkler, and inspired us to consider and enjoy  the wonder and warmth of our God.  The menu included just a touch of whimsy with the addition of green eggs and ham (scrambled eggs with spinach and ham), three cheese eggs, and regular scrambled eggs, along with fruit, home fried potatoes, pancakes with sprinkles, fresh biscuits  and delicious little cheese cakes.  A large whimsical cake occupied the center of the room and was the focal point of attention.  An area for photo opportunities with family and friends included an oversized flower arrangement with two large, live goldfish in residence at the base.  This area was in demand the entire time as many memories were documented.   Fellowship and smiles were enjoyed all around as women shared in good food, lovely surroundings, precious worship lead by Monique Glupker, door prizes and a reminder to appreciate all the relationships we enjoy throughout life with our sisters in Christ Jesus.   For pictures click here.
